a few things to do as winter approaches...
Print and color these adorable flower fairy coloring pages. They print covering about 2/3 of the page - perfect for Des who writes her 'stories' in the margin of EVERYTHING (including grocery lists, my Sudoku puzzles, and any piece of mail she can get her hands on).
Make garland for the tree (idea from Handmade Home). I used old wool sweaters I found at a thrift shop that were over-washed, misshapen, and perfect for me as they were already 'felted!' We added pine cones, tiny shells the kids found this summer, and 'apple tree buttons' we all made from the half of the apple tree we lost in a storm this year!
Make applesauce.
(Gigantic leaf pile jumping goes without saying)
Nap, although this is sadly only a weekend activity lately.
Hope you are all getting your quiet time any way you like it!
